SMS Program Privacy Policy

This SMS Program Privacy Policy explains how information is handled for the text-messaging (“Text Series”) program operated on the learnmore.health enrollment pages. The technology platform and messaging infrastructure are provided by Social Cascade, Inc. (“Social Cascade,” “we,” “us”).

This policy applies to the learnmore.health enrollment pages and the Text Series SMS program offered by healthcare practices that partner with Social Cascade. It supplements the Social Cascade Platform Privacy Policy for the SMS program. The Platform Privacy Policy at socialcascade.co/privacy continues to govern accounts and use of the Social Cascade Platform itself.

The healthcare practice you enrolled with (the “Practice”) is the sender of the messages and the party you consent to receive texts from. Social Cascade operates the enrollment pages and SMS delivery infrastructure as a technology platform and service provider on the Practice’s behalf.

The program is not designed to transmit protected health information, and message content does not include diagnoses, treatment details, medications, or test results (see Section 5). To the extent we handle protected health information for a Practice, we do so as that Practice’s business associate, in accordance with HIPAA and any applicable business associate agreement.

For questions about your protected health information, including requests for access, correction or deletion, contact the Practice or refer to its Notice of Privacy Practices.

• Your mobile phone number.
• Consent records (the opt-in text you agreed to, the keyword or page used, timestamp, and the receiving number).
• Technical data such as IP address and user agent when you use an enrollment page.
• Language preference and the keyword or series you enrolled in.
• Message engagement events (for example, delivery receipts and link clicks).
• Page and video activity on these pages: which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, which links you selected, and which videos you played and how much of each you watched. This is recorded for everyone who visits. It is linked to the phone number a text message was sent to only where you have separately agreed to that — either when you signed up, or through consent the Practice obtained from you directly and recorded on your behalf. You can decline and still receive every message. If you replied STOP, the linking stops. It is retained for up to 400 days and then deleted.
• A first-party cookie (lm_visit) set the first time you open any of these pages, however you arrived. It lasts up to 30 days and cannot be read by page scripts. It links the activity above to your enrollment only where you have separately agreed to that, however that agreement was given; without it the activity is counted with no link to you. Browser cookie settings are not the control here — the separate agreement is, and you can withdraw it at any time using the link at the bottom of any program page, or by replying STOP (see Section 9).
• Video playback on these pages is provided by YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. A page that contains a video loads player software from YouTube when the page opens, whether or not you play anything. That request is subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Cookies: the first-party cookie described above, and the cookies your browser sets for the YouTube player when a page contains a video. These pages use no third-party web analytics service. You can configure your browser to accept or reject cookies.
• Optional, non-sensitive intake responses configured by the Practice. We do not collect a full date of birth; month and year are the maximum precision collected if a birth date is requested.
• A link we sent you before September 2026 may still carry an enrollment reference in its web address. Opening or forwarding such a link associates that enrollment with the browsing session it is opened in. Links we send now carry no such reference, and we will stop honouring the older ones.

• To deliver the messages you requested from the Practice.
• To measure which pages and videos in the program are useful, and to report that engagement to the Practice — including, when you arrive by following a link in a text message and you have agreed to it, linked to the phone number the message was sent to.
• To maintain records of your consent and opt-out choices.
• To operate, secure, and support the SMS program.
• To comply with law and enforce our terms.

The program does not include diagnoses, treatment details, medications, test results, or other protected health information. Please do not send such information by text.

The Practice you enrolled with is the sender of your messages, not a third party. As to any other party:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and message delivery, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We share information only as needed to run the program:

• Twilio, Inc. — SMS delivery (your phone number and message content).
• Google — Google Cloud for infrastructure and (where the Practice enables it) message translation.
• Vercel — hosting of the learnmore.health website.
• The Practice you enrolled with (the Brand), so it can operate its own messaging program.
• Legal, safety, and fraud-prevention recipients when required or permitted by law.

These pages use no third-party analytics service. The page and video engagement reporting described in Sections 4 and 5 is first-party: it stays with Social Cascade and the Practice you enrolled with, and it is linked to your phone number only where you have separately agreed to that. We do not sell or rent your mobile opt-in information, and we do not share it with content partners or advertisers for their own marketing.

Message frequency varies by program and Practice. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of receiving healthcare services.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Reply START to re-subscribe after opting out. We retain consent records for approximately seven (7) years to meet legal requirements, and we retain opt-out records so that a number that has opted out is not re-subscribed without new consent.

Replying STOP also withdraws the separate agreement described in Section 4: the link between page and video activity and your number ends, and the activity already recorded is unlinked from you. The pages still count visits and video plays with no link to you, as they do for every visitor who never agreed to the linking. You can end the link on its own, without unsubscribing, using the link at the bottom of any program page. Page and video activity is retained for up to 400 days and is then deleted.

• The program is not directed to children under 13.
• We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information and investigate suspected security incidents.
• Information is processed in the United States.
• Enrollment and message pages may link to other websites; we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
• If Social Cascade is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/EEA GDPR or the California CCPA — including access, correction, deletion, and data portability. Contact privacy@socialcascade.co to exercise these rights, subject to the consent-proof retention described above. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
• We may update this policy; material changes will be posted with a new date.
